I wanted to try recreating a photo-realistic Ikea catalogue image in Maya 2024 using the Arnold Renderer. I chose not to include the plants in the reference as most plant assets are more efficiently sourced online, and I would like to showcase only models that I have made. The visual results were good, and I think I have gained more confidence rendering low-poly objects with Arnold and using N-cloth to simulate towels and pillows.
In hindsight, the light could be improved by adjusting the sunlight's intensity and lowering the temperature to give the composition a more homey feel, like the reference.
